How old is your battery? If it’s fairly new, I wouldn’t be too worried.. But if it’s a couple of years old, you might be risking it

I see solar battery minders sold on Amazon. Some have decent ratings. I haven't used one personally since I am lucky enough to have a convenient outlet for a regular trickle charger. I use the one made by Optima and it's been working great.

Unless you have battery problems now I wouldn't worry about it. If you need the piece of mind, I got one off Amazon for $25 that I like though there are zillons of other ones https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Bricking your ECU is not worth $30 it would cost you for a battery charger.

I flashed my car a few times on my old battery and used a charger. My battery died a few weeks later. Had I not had a charger I could’ve had to deal with a dead ECU.

    Be safe, get a charger.
