In 2018 sometime (I work a lot of hours so time for the car is scarce) I was finally able to drive the car under its own stage 3 power. Didn't go well. Ran like crap. Wouldn't go above 3500 rpm without cutting completely out. Called giac multiple times over this because the car ran great before tuning. It was coding a couple things but don't really remember what it was. Ended up being the egt sensors. Replaced with sid MotorSports. Ran better but would have multiple misfires and then another 02 sensor no activity. Called them multiple times over this because it came back up no activity even after replacing the o2 in question. By this time when they would answer and notice it was me I could tell they didn't want to talk to me. Car sits over the next year mainly do to working so much and it having a horribly bad leaking rear main. Get back to it late last year up until now. The car started dying and not restarting. Would just crank and crank. Would only happen once in a month maybe 2. Smelt like it was flooding itself out when you try to start. Leave it for a couple days and it would start. Never could figure it out. Had great spark. Obviously fuel. Called them multiple times over this and Everytime I would get the same person that would act like my problems aren't theirs and just wanted me off the phone. For what ever reason the car hasn't done that since but is now sputtering/misfire/ hesitation under heavy boost. Might be the n75. Plugged the one side and I think it ran ok or at least better. Not sure becuase i didn't push it to hard. I have yet to drive it at its full potential and im done even trying to get help from people that don't want to give it. Sorry for the long story. Just wanted to give the reasoning for the thread
If the tuner can't get signal from a sensor how are they supposed to tune?
I would go back to a base tune and start troubleshooting.
The behaviors that you are describing could be literally 100 different things.
Any undetectable preexisting problems will definitely become magnified when you push the car.
There are plenty of guys in here that will help.
Get 100% confident in all your sensors, ignition, fuel.
Eliminate any hardware issues on a base file then start tuning.
