    4m Q7 oil change

Hello about to do an oil change on my 2017 Q7 and had a couple questions for anyone that’s done theirs. First the oil capacity would be 7.4 quarts so would you fill day 7 qts then check on the dash and keep adding small amounts and rechecking? Second what type of oil do you guys use? I use Mobil 1 usually so would it be 0w40 or 5w30 for the Q7? Thanks guys!

I'm using LiquiMoly Molygen 5w40 and it's awesome! Much better than tbe Castrol,Penzoil was using before.
    Cheers,,

PS: BETTER to put less, and then add. Q7 doesn't have dipstick, so it can't be sucked. If you put too much car will give you a please remove oil warning, and you'll have to drain it....

BTW there is still a dipstick plug which is where I sucked the oil out of using my extractor. It just pulls right out w some force, no threads.

Ok I’ll order some Molygen. Is the digital way very accurate when adding fluid? Probably start 6.5 and add up till it’s full

Good to know, where is the plug located? does Audi offer a dipstick that can be purchased?
seems like a hassle to go in the car warm up the car for 20 mins then the oil level will read correctly.

It's on the right side of the block, toward the front. Black plug, it's VERY hard to spot but it is there. I believe you can purchase a dipstick, but have not verified.
