CETE Lowering Module Connectivity Issue

Installed the module this afternoon. V1 version with WiFi...

Did the following:

• Installed the module
• Fired the car up
• Connected to the WiFi
• Opened the app

The app kept giving me an error code saying connection failed, even though I was connected to the WiFi. Tried again on a friend's phone.. same story, no dice. The settings from the previous owner are currently stored, as the car went down in Dynamic mode. I want to fine tune the settings and have the ability to enter show mode... but the app is not allowing me.

Any inisight from anyone on the board?

IOS or Android? I thought there were some issues with the Android app version not getting updated for newer Android OS.

Was going to ask the stupid question if you were using the Wi-Fi app but you definitely are. Did the previous owner give you the 4 digit password they were using? Unsure if that would block the connection like you're seeing but something to check.

Yes I tried his password to no avail...

Have you tried the default password? (0000)

Yes I tried that as well...

It says 0000 in red. When I press the 'Change Password' button, nothing happens...

I got an email from CETE this morning and they claimed the V1 module only supports up to and including iOS 12. So I went ahead and tried an older phone with iOS 12.4.6 and still didn't work. However this time it gave a different error code, something along the lines of 'Could not connect, try to reset PW'.

Bummer on the IOS version, maybe get an older 9.3.5 limited iPad mini or something. Show mode is cool but the novelty kinda wears off.

Finally got the App to work...

Using an old iPhone with iOS 12.4.6, entered 0000 probably about 50 times to no avail, and then it suddenly turned green and connected. Weird, but I'm happy we got this thing slammed....
