1995 Audi S6 UrS6

UPDATE 7/13/2020, Car is back up for sale for good. I’ve decided to buy a boat to get what’s left of my kids being kids. 8k/offer. I’m traveling the last two weeks of July. Relisting my car now that the weather is warmer. Had a buyer, but he went a different direction, and went newer.

For sale is my 1995 S6 Emerald Green 199k. 3 owner car, clean Carfax. I’ve owned it for about 14 months and I’m the third owner. I bought it through 2Bennett and had it shipped from Sacramento to Northeast Ohio. I currently have it in storage for winter and it hasn’t seen winter since 2012. First owner had it from 1995-2012 in NY/CT. Ecru interior, front seats could use repainting, but I kinda like the patina. 99% documentation since new, including Audi VHS tape, Audi Jazz tape, mobile phone, etc. Motor was replaced at 64k by the dealer. Brand new Yokohama 245 40 17 tires, OZ ultralaggera 17x8 wheels, 2Bennett coilovers, 3” exhaust and chipped (Brand unknown, 2Bennett was unsure of the brand). I just replaced rotors, pads, calipers, and lines in rear in September, along with replacing gas tank and fuel pump. Timing Belt replaced less than 5,000 miles ago. No rust.

Everything works as it should, however the cruise control switch on the column is intermittent. I also have a spare starter, coolant T connection for the back of the block and a few other parts. I love the car, but I bought it with the idea of having a toy as my daily, bad idea since I refuse to drive it in the salt.

Most of the UrS4's I see on the market these days have torn seats, broken or hacked up bumpers, and rust bubbles on every panel - and they still have asking prices of $4-5k. I'm not saying this will get the $8k asking, but this is a ridiculously clean example compared to the average condition I see on the market, so I respect the decision to keep it over taking $6k.

You may want to consider listing this on Bring A Trailer. It seems clean enough, and the auction setting is a good way to get top dollar for something in unusually nice condition.

If I were you, I would keep it, and enjoy the hell out of it year-round because cars are made to be driven and old Audi's are an absolute blast in the snow. Alternatively, if you refuse to drive it in the winter and can't find the right buyer, just pick up a $1k '99 Accord with winter tires for the bad months, and continue to enjoy this the rest of the year. Just my $0.02, GLWS!

More undercarriage photos taken and added to the google photo share. Added videos of testing the AC, downshift to first from second, and heater test. I also have the original wheels with a set of new snows that I got from 2Bennet. Never used them since I didn’t drive it in the snow. The wheels are drive in the winter condition, if you wanted them perfect they would need refinished

Just to update the thread. Funds didn’t workout, the buyer made huge efforts to make it work but we just fell short. Good guy, but I had to stick with what I needed. As a result I took it as a sign that I really do love the car, so I’m keeping it. May toss my b7 avant on the block, but we’ll see. Appreciate all the support and interest.

Ha! Interestingly enough, haven’t seen any of your cars either, though the 6.0 grows on trees out here, I had a f350 CC LB Dually 8 years ago. I get the s6 and my b7 a4 avant with a color change wrap (maybe you’ve seen that) Serviced at Smith’s in Chagrin falls when I can’t do it myself.

My mind is blown, I was literally just thinking the other day about how good ford mystrichome type paint would look on an Audi. Still shocked I haven't seen either. That picture of both is chardon square even! Anyways, good looking cars and hopefully you find the right buyer!
