Thumbs down A word of caution about AudiUSAParts.com

So I ordered some OEM Audi parts on AudiUSAParts.com, based on some forum members' recommendations. AudiUSAParts is a sister company to Sunset Porsche parts, from whom I've ordered before and was treated decently, so I figure these guys should be ok.

I ordered the parts 3 weeks ago, nothing happened after the first week. I emailed them the second week, and they replied "parts are shipping today." Another week (8 days to be exact) went by, nothing. I emailed them again and this time I asked for tracking number, they replied and said "ok it'll actually ship out today." So they basically lied to me the first time and nothing was done for a week. If I don't get on them, I"m sure nothing will be packed or shipped even by today. I can only pray now that I will get what I actually ordered, but the parts won't arrive for yet another week.

They have some decent price but if I didn't have to order OEM parts, I'd avoid them. Or, you have to be on their back to make sure things actually get done.

BTW I didn't order some custom parts that needs to be shipped from Germany. A set of floor mats and a key chain, simple stuff.

Sorry to hear that. I had an experience with them as well... but nothing major.

I do empathize but keep in mind that due to pandemic related personnel shortages and higher shipping priorities many items are arriving far later than in more normal times. Of course if they had related similar that would have been far more palatable than a misrepresentation.

There are bigger issues in the world than getting your floor mats for your Audi dude.
It's not like you are in the middle of an engine build and your car is down.
    Have some perspective.
