    GIAC tuning review

I wanted to write a quick review as I'm so impressed with the tunes they offer and how easy it is to do at home!! For those of you that haven't used GIAC, the tunes come loaded on a USB stick which plugs into their mobile flashloader. From there, you simply plug the mobile flashloader into the OBD port and let the process begin. (Also have the car hooked up to a battery charger) It took around 10-15 minutes to flash the car. Also to add, if you want to go back to stock the mobile flashloader has settings on the side which can be switched back.

I highly recommend these guys, they have been around for years and have plenty of knowledge on what they are doing.

I opted straight for the Stage 2 tune in my SQ5 and this has completely transformed the car. There's so much more power and torque! Launch controls are incredible and the forward momentum never gives up.

Really happy with this purchase!! 20200518_155923.jpeg

I have a GIAC tune on my 2015 S5 going on 3 years now and absolutely love it - transformed the car. I just bought a 2016 Q5 3.0t and am considering it for that too. Curious, did you get a trans tune as well? My S5 is a manual so I don't have any experience with that.

They are fantastic for sure! They don't have a tune for these transmissions unfortunately. I personally don't think they need one either. But then again I haven't driven an 8 speed audi with a tune.

Thanks for this input. I’m scheduled in April for engine and transmission on my S7. I have been hesitant, but this helped.
