2016 Audi S3 maintenance at 60k miles (what do I need)?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I bought my S3 over a year ago at 44k miles and I've reached 60k miles. I need some help figuring out what maintenance I need to have done. I bought the car with APR Stage 2 already on it so if there is something I need to change for it please let me know. This is my first tuned car and I want it to last. The previous owner did the following:

    - Oil change every 5,000 miles with LiquiMoly 5w40 oil change kit from ECStuning with OEM oil filter.
    - DSG service (drain and fill; replace filter) at 35,000 miles with LiquiMoly DSG transmission oil, OEM filter, and OEM drain plug.
    - Spark plug change at 25,000 miles with OEM Audi RS7 plugs.
    - Four wheel balance and alignment done by AWE Tuning in June, 2018.
    - Haldex service (drain and fill; haldex pump screen clean)
    - Water pump replaced with all OEM components at New German Performance.

I had the following done in July 2019 at around 54k miles:

    Motul oil and filter change
OEM oil filter and Motul oil
Check condition of Haldex/DSG trans fluid (was clean)

    April 2020:

    Wheel and tire mount/balance

Finally, here's what's on my list to get done:

    OEM RS7 spark plugs
Air intake replacement filter (engine) Is this what I need?: https://www.bmptuning.com/collection...ilter-rf100001 & https://www.bmptuning.com/collection...apr-sai-filter
    Brake fluid (flush/replace)
    Haldex fluid (check)

Sounds good so far. Maybe consider getting the intake valves scoped and having a carbon cleaning done if need be.

Thanks for the advice I'll make sure to have that checked.

Seems like it’s been well maintained.

Spark plugs, air filter and brake fluid seems right. And check if needs carbon cleaning.

I like to run a tank of zero-ethanol-premium through every now and then. I think I read that recommendation in Audi owners manual.

I’d say also do the cabin air filter, and check/clear any gutter drains. Top off windshield wiper fluid. Check tire pressure too.

Thanks a lot! I forgot to mention I did change the cabin air filter earlier this year but not the engine air filter. Since my S3 has a TPMS I've maintenaned my tire pressure.

I also keep my windshield wiper fluid level with distilled water to avoid water spots. I've never heard about the zero-ethanol premium but I'll check it out.

There is a front and rear bevel box; takes gear oil.
Might be good to drain and fill.

I would change the DSG and Haldex fluid either way. Otherwise, I think everyone's suggestions are solid. I too recently changed the cabin air filter and wished I'd done it earlier. Very easy to do.

I also think it's a good idea to change plugs more freequently when tuned. 25k miles seems good to me. Does anyone @ Stage 2 change them more frequently?

Is the accessory belt on a replacement schedule?

The 2015 Audi Maintenance Schedule says to do this first at 75k miles, and every 80k miles thereafter:
Ribbed V-belt: Check and replace if necessary. Check tension of belt drive with a manual tensioner and retention if necessary.
