    2015 S3 8v PowerStop Brakes any good?

My S3 needs brakes I'm looking for a "blingy", performance improving, set of pads and rotors. Perhaps something slotted and drilled (I just like the look for my daytona grey). Also, thinking something lighter might be worth buying. Looking at the Powerstop z23 daily driver upgrades. Does any one have experience with these? Or have suggestions of what I should look at that meets the above criteria?

I had a 320awhp B5 A4 with 17z upgrade and Powerstop rotors and pads. They worked fine until I got into some super agressive driving, like hard 100-0 stops. I nearly lost all braking. Luckily I was going on a straight. Never again.

For standard or slightly upgraded rotors, I really like EBC slotted rotors and Redstuff pads.

For some "blingy" rotors, I run the DBA 4000 series T3 on my B5 S4. Unfortunately, I cannot find those available for an 8V S3 in their catalog. But if they are available, I'd get those.

Oh yeah, low dust and high performance don't really go together. If ceramics are ok for you, and I'm sure they are, Akebono.

I had the z23 kit on my old tc. They were ok for around town or some slightly aggressive driving, but once you got into emergency stops of real aggressive driving they were def subpar. And if you want blingyness, they look good originally, but rust up fairly quickly. Well that may just be since i am in PA were it snows from oct-what seems like june this year. For the money, they aren't bad, but i had better luck with nice looks for longer with r1concepts black rotors and hawk hps pads. Although they were dusty and cant speak of the longevity there since the tc got rearended by a semi a yr after installing. But i felt more confident in the braking ability.
