Hey Audizine!
We have decided to make a build thread timeline documenting our 2017 R8 V10.
We picked this car up in September 2016. It was ordered to our spec, which was a fully loaded V10 (non plus) to demonstrate being able to make a non plus as cool, if not cooler than a plus! Since the V10 has more sound deadening inside, larger fuel tank, non bucket seats, it made better sense to serve as a daily driver and customer shuttle vehicle which was our goal. The lack of power and aero wasn't concerning, we had a solution for this!

Out of the box the car was worlds ahead of the first Generation R8. Not saying that as a bad statement, the first gen is much more analog and a better driver's car. We have had both a 2014 Samoa Orange V8 6mt with a VF Engineering Supercharger and a Sepang Blue 2011 V10 R-Tronic coupe. However the new generation 2 was a whole new base to build on!

So without wasting much time, we ordered some parts and stripped the car down for its first round of cosmetic upgrade.
Pulled the rear bumper and had the exhaust tips powdercoated gloss black along with the wheels. Had the front and rear sidemarker lights color matched Dynamite Red to body color. Oh yeah, and a Tubi Style Exhaust showed up in the mail!

A V10 Plus wing quickly made its way onto the car also along with V10 Plus Carbon Mirror Caps. Doing a lot with VF Engineering at our shop, it only seemed fitting to jump on their Hex Tuning Software. Along with the Tubi Exhaust, we saw near 650hp on the World Motorsports Mustang 4 Wheel dyno, making more power than a stock V10 Plus that was ran a few days prior.

A set of KW Height Adjustable Springs were ordered from KW Germany to bring the car down to earth and fix the stock gap. We also had the car corner balanced and aligned with install. Also you can kind of see the stainless steel USP brake lines that made their way on at the same time. And a teaser shot of the black Audi rings up front. A whole set of new badges were ordered from Audi and painted glossy black.
