    RHD Avant 2.0T / 40TFSI (190hp) build (OEM+ content) [To ECS, CTS, 034- FYI]

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
After months of trial and error (primarily not getting enough info on whether the LHD parts will fit on a RHD car) I can finally share what will fit and what won’t!

I know this isn’t a ‘crazy 500hp turbo build’ but the primary purpose of the post is to share our 190FWD/RHD B9 friends the information that they need as many North American brands could not confirm this

As the car isn’t 100% complete yet, I’ll update the post as I fit new parts

    The car is the A4 Avant S-Line (17/18 model) 2.0T (190hp) or (40TFSI – FWD model)
    Note: For our friends living overseas 35TFSI – 1.4, 40TFSI – 2.0T (190) and 45TFSI – 2.0T (250 Quattro)

    Current mods:
-ECS Luft-Technik Carbon Intake (Will not fit on 190HP/FWD 2.0T’s, but retrofitting will work)
-ECS Downpipe + front resonator delete/ 200cel cat (Will fit RHD/FWD)
    https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ecs-part...258ecs01ktkt1/

Note: The ECS Center Resonator Delete will NOT fit on the FWD cars as our center/mid-pipe is not a straight shaped mid pipe
    https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ecs-part...023492ecs01kt/

-CTS Charge pipe & Turbo muffler delete (Will fit RHD/FWD)
    -S4 Flat-bottom steering wheel
    -S4 Center shift knob
    -S4 Gloss black grill
    -ECS Front lip
    -S4 side grills
-Gloss black side mirrors (You don’t need to take off the mirrors!)
    -Bilstein PSS10 Coilovers
-034 Rear sway bar + Transmission mount (Will fit RHD/FWD)
-ECS Billet tunnel brace (Will fit RHD/FWD)
    -S5 19x8.5 et28 - 245/35/19 (Goodyear F1 A5)
    -Plastidipped all black trims

Upcoming: Stage 2 Tune, S4 rear valence and exhaust tips conversion

    ECS Luft-Technik Carbon Intake
(Note: Will NOT fit on 2.0T 190/FWD cars due to MAF sensor unless you retrofit the intake filter)

Separate thread on fitting this intake:
    https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...T-Ultra-190hp)

Exhaust setup ECS Downpipe + front resonator delete/200cel cat (front and mid resonator delete and running stock rear muffler)

Full thread on my exhaust setup:
    https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...M-rear-muffler

Note: The ECS Center Resonator Delete will NOT fit on the FWD cars as our center/mid-pipe is not a straight shaped mid pipe
    https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ecs-part...023492ecs01kt/

My failed attempt of the S4 rear mufflers (no valve option = extremely loud)
Currently not running the S4 rear exhaust setup anymore

    In-car noise: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFhTc08Fe4M

CTS Charge pipe & Turbo Muffler Delete (Will fit RHD)
Might as well buy the turbo muffler delete as well! On the 190HP cars it made an incredible amount of difference (throttle feel)

S4 Flat-bottom Steering Wheel + other exterior cosmetic updates
Best interior mod ever, highly recommended!

    Issues with Bilstein PSS10 coilovers

Separate thread on fixing the ‘noise’:
    https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...oilover-series

    ECS Billet Tunnel Brace
Makes NO difference to the car at all, haha

When I first got the car!

    Fully stock

    Side grills blacked out

    With PSS10

    With ECS spacers/flush kit

Current look with the S5/Q7 wheels

    Some more shots:

    thanks bud.
so for the 190 guys out there, there isn't really a lot of tune to choose from.. unfortunately none of the well-known US brands make a tune for the low-output 190, only leaving us with a custom tune (from the UK) i'll be getting mine offered by MTA based here in HK.

i bought the s4 mufflers from the Shanghai-VW factory (its basically the equivalent of the domestic made VAG) where they were selling the non-valved mufflers. they are way too loud so it's currently off the car, not sure what to do with it though.. haha

Love the new pics buddy! Looking forward to see who you'll be getting your tune from. Don't really know any tuners for the 190hp.
