Purchased the Tune2air device and had questions. My phone says Bluetooth is connected to the device but when I touch media button it says this device cannot be read. I'm using galaxy note10+. Is this unit not going to work with my device, Is there one that will?

I have an iPhone XR and I use Spotify for my music, but it won’t play music unless I have Apple Music installed, and it always defaults to playing the Apple Music when I start the car. Download the original music app that came with your phone or Apple Music (if you can on Samsung) and that should fix the problem.

My Tune2Air gave me that error and after restarting the phone and disconnecting the dongle the MMI error went away.

    Tune2air

You can’t have music playing before connecting. If you did just close your music app then unplug and plug in the dongle and let it reconnect until it auto plays your music

Tried verifying good connection of device to cars port. Also restarted phone and tried again. Disconnected Bluetooth and reconnected. Didn't have music playing when I connected. I just sent the device back to ECS for a refund. Maybe down the road I'll find something that will work. Thanks for your help!

    Same as bb-tt.

Phone connects to car for calls, and then also to the Bovee Tune2Air. Like others have said, occasionally you'll get the device can't be read if you have stuff playing while connecting. A quick phone restart has fixed it and so has locking the car while off to let the T2A power cycle. The tune2Air should connect as soon as you unlock the car and is on for about 15 seconds after you lock the doors and turn off the car. If you unplug, you'll have to pair the device again.
