    Westlake SA07 Tires

My car came off the dealer lot with the Westlake SA07 (255 40zr 19) rated at 100w. Clearly they threw on the cheapest set of performance grade tires. I know the Continental ExtremeContact is a popular choice here for the A6 S-Line but strangely, these cheap SA07’s are well rated, strong customer reviews, and seem to do a decent job on the road so I’m struggling to upgrade them at the moment.

I’m wondering if I’d really notice a difference in doing so. Thoughts?

I just bought my a6 and they have Pirelli p7 also some of the cheapest tires. But they’re brand new. I think you will definitely notice a difference if you upgrade to something like p zero or Michelin high performance but depends on how you plan on driving the car

Normal driving mostly (roads/highways) but having the sporty handling is something I like.

You’ll probably enjoy all seasons the most. I would just leave what you have until they get low depends if you have the money right now or not

I’d suggest seeing how they do in the rain. A lot of cheaper tires are terrible in the rain and snow because of the harder compound they use. If they are fine to you and safe, then use them until they are not. The DWS06 tires are just okay in my opinion.
