Question Big Turbo Build ECU Options

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I have a 1.8t b6 with a gt3071r and I am trying to decide which route I should take for tuning.
These are the options I am considering:

    • Audi S3/A4 1.8T (ME 7.5) MaxxECU RACE Plugin STANDARD
    • LinkEcu TTLink (G4+)
    • Eurodyne Maestro7

I am trying to find the most "plug-in-play" solution so I don't have to get into a mess with a ton of wiring. I have heard mixed reviews about Eurodyne but I know that would be the easiest solution. I can not find much info on the MaxxECU, but I know some people use them on b5s. If anyone has any insight on which route I should take feel free to let me know.

I’m assuming you want to tune yourself and not have some one like motoza tune it for you?
What ever makes sense go with the opposite and you got it

Ignitron ECU based out of hungary is the best for the money if you ask me. Please note this is nothing like a Eurodyne Maestro software for the stock ecu . It is a complete balls to the wall plug n play standalone ecu system. Just plug in the ecu into your stock harness run the base file wizard to get it running and tune from there. This ecu will work with factory cluster so you can keep all your gauges and so on. By far the best setup for the hardcore performance user. Meaning dont expect a MIL to illuminate. As I said its for the hardcore user.

There is a handful of people with B6 a4's running this setup. I myself will be running the same ecu once my engine is in the car.

I downloaded their demo software to check it out and I know they advertise their base map file wizard which would come in handy, but I was looking under the engine codes and I have an AMB motor which is not listed, do you think there is another option I could use that is very similar to the AMB?
