How to tell if car has Driver Assistance Package

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I am in the market for a 2016-2018 Audi S6. I am looking for one that has a Driver Assistance package. Is there anyway to see if it has it without having the window sticker?

I am trying to find a car that has Sport Package, Cold Weather package and the Driver Assistance Package. Would like a Black optics package but not a deal breaker.

camera on side mirrors and in grill is a big key, two round domes where fog lamps locations (on other cars) that look like plastic blanks is for the active cruise control is another option that comes with it.

Thanks for the info. I knew what to look for on the Sports Package and the Cold Weather. It amazes me used car dealers do not list all the options the car has.

I am not surprised at all that everything isn't listed. The good ones turn over quite a bit of product and simply don't have the time to do significant research on options for the cars they sell. There are simply too many car variants out there to even have the personal knowledge base to say well yeah look here that means it has option X. The more options they know about the higher the price tag will be

The average consumer says they want brand / model XYZ and then say oh that looks nice and the miles are low and a good price.

Enthusiasts on the other hand spend a lot of research time looking for exactly what they want and have done the research to know what to look for. Missing marked options means a better deal.

    Just made this quickly.

Active lane assist may not be enabled even if adaptive cruise is present. This is software change only.

Night vision would be a camera in the grill by the logo.

I just realized about the night vision as well. That is a 2500.00 option

Ok, I think there are correct statements here listed but somewhat not precise.

Below information is what I used when I looked for my S7.

Cameras in the mirrors are not always required in order to have driver's Assist, although it'd indicate that the driver assist is present.
Mirrors will also have blindspot indicators that light up. Those are black rectangles on the side of the mirrors facing car interior and are sometimes confused for cameras.

There could be two cameras by the front logo. Just underneath the logo, centrally located is front and corner viewing camera. Within the logo, somewhat to the side, is the night vision camera. Night Vision cameras are rarely equipped by the way and a separate option.
See the picture of my front/corner camera.

I'm attaching a screen shot of my window sticker that lists my driver assist options.

My best recommendation would be to understand which feature out of drivers assist you want.

If it's top view with 360 degrees, then you need to look beyond just Driver's Assist (I don't have 360 view and no cameras in mirrors) and I believe located cameras at the bottom of the mirrors.

If it's stop and go adaptive cruise, then a good indicator would be an extra stalk on the left side of steering column for engagement and distance set.

Thanks for all the info. I am just looking for the adaptive cruise mostly. I did find out the car I was looking at had night vision as well.

Yup, how I separated cars while shopping for mine were through the adaptive cruise/lane keep stalk by the steering wheel and the front camera under the Audi rings in the grill. Easiest way to quickly tell with most for sale listing photos.

OP, if the one you're looking at has the 360 camera, and it's a 2017 or 2018, then it's a Prestige. 2016 did not have the 360 camera locked to the Prestige package....to further break it down. For the facelift 2016 you could get the 360 camera in the Drivers Assistance package. It didn't say what year facelift you were looking at.

OP....Great idea that will answer all your questions. Copy this link and replace the VIN in the address bar with the one you have a question about. It will give you the Monroney. This only works in the US tho. https://monroney.manheim.com//pdf/WA...905414?lang=en
