RS3 grill for S3 facelift where to buy and install

I'm looking to swap out my 2017 S3 double optics grill for a RS3 grill. Anyone here do this? There's several of them for sale on ebay etc, but I want to make sure I get one that's a good quality and fits. Less money is ideal until it results in worse quality. I'm also considering a black optics S3 grill, but don't want to pay OEM price. Looking for where to buy and testimony of the process. I've done grill swaps before but none that involve sensors and bumper removal.

No I have an S3. Looking for an RS3 grill FOR my S3. I did see this before. Considered it because it's on clearance and at least its black. Problem is that's for an A3. it doesn't have any of the parking sensor holders that I need. Thanks for the share though!

They all seem to be the same and most likely come from the same manufacturer in China. I was looking into this or a black optics grill but they're stupid expensive new and used ones are still expensive and tend to be beat up. I'm just going to pull mine off and paint it black. That way I know all of my sensors are going to have a home. Most people that have bought an ebay one say that they fight fine, shipping is forever though with everything going on.

I put one in my last car, it was a Chinese copy, around 250 bucks I think. It's a multi-hour project. Not difficult, but time consuming since the whole bumper & sensors, etc need to come off & back on. You'll need a long extention for one of the bolts behind the wheel well plastic on both sides. A headlamp was handy too.

Do you have an ACC Sensor? That would probably narrow down your results.

I just picked this up from WinnAuto. I checked eBay and stuff but i was worried about the quality. Plus most are shipping from China..and can't ship right now because of COVID-19.

I think they all have acc for fl. Could be wrong, but I do. Thank you for the info. I called them and they do in fact still have a few. It arrived a couple days ago. Everywhere else was out of stock or coming from china and would be here mid summer at the soonest. It looks great! I was disappointed that the quattro script wasn't already set up on it. They're like badges. Just adhesive tape to put them on. I really don't trust myself to make that look right but I guess I have no choice. I'm going to do it Monday. pretty nervous though. I've never done anything like this. I found 1 video on how to do it and it's for a pfl. Anyone done this on a facelift? Could really use some more guidance!!! Winn does not provide any instructions.

Also, if anyone is looking to buy black badges, I ordered all of them in black from winn and they look great! My rear rings didn't get a perfect seat so I'm a little worried it wont stay put. Not the end of the world but I was pissed when I started it, went to realign and the tape stuck to the car but not the badge and would not come off. Had to twist it a little so in one spot it's a little folded. I did use adhesive promotor so I should be good. can't tell from looking at it, but if I push on that spot it bends in ever so slightly. Anyway, it's a must if you have glacier white like myself. Along with my black scorpion exhaust, carbon fiber spoiler, and those new badges, the rear end looks 1000% better. I'll post some pics after I get the new grill on.

I bought the grill from winnauto and it has pre-indents for the quattro logo, like a very thin lines.

yeah I saw those. I bought some white chalk to help make it a little more. After my audi ring incident, I want to be sure I get it right the first time.

The grill is a replica so its not an exact copy of the oem RS3 grill. A lot people complain about the space of the rings but out of all the reps out there I think this one looks the closest to the real thing. There is a way to fit the oem RS3 grill on an S3 but I believe it involves quite a bit of work to get it to fit.

This. I bought the same one and fitment is spot on. The rings stick out a little bit but it doesn’t really bother me.

Mine is a replica as well that i'll have to dig for the source (i'll get back to you). I opted to install mine myself. Certainly not easy as i'm far from a mechanic, but do-able. Just took a few hours and what felt like a millions screws hahaha. Certainly makes a huge difference.
