Maxton Design Front Lip for S-line Bumper

Please share the way you secured this lip to your s-line bumper. I can’t figure out for the life of me wtf is happening. I added a few more bolts and staggered them from front to back all throughout the lip with 3m DST. This is my second lip through them that has buckled/ cracked on me at higher freeway speeds, causing me to run it over and dragging half of it home. Is there a different solution LOL? I really want to stay away from buying another one after this, but there isn’t many lips that look good out there for our bumpers. It would be ideal to actually get an aluminum functional splitter with adjustable rods but I can’t find one anywhere!

RickB_7 has fitted a GTI lip that looks pretty damn good - very recently. Pics in the What Did You Do to Your B7 Today? thread. Cherry red A4 w the all black grill.

Not sure this helps you with Maxton products but another option is apparently out there.

Bolts? Members and friends, including myself, have just used self-tapping screws for years without issues on our Cupra Lips... can’t imagine the Maxton Design would be any different.
