Audi RS3 VIM for MMI

Anyone have any idea how to get video in motion unlocked for the audi MMI. I have a 2019 model btw.

Nothing has worked for our gen. Would have to downgrade the MMI.

It works for wireless car play not sure about VIM. I never saw that as an option.

it's practically the same thing....watching video while the car is moving. You just keep the data on your phone and stream it to the MMI instead of via CD or SD card.

I can't find anything about the screen mirroring to the HU!?? If so is it still wireless?? I did searched, but didn't find nothing about this!!

You sure it screen mirrors with this? I thought it just does wireless CarPlay. Cause you can’t do VIM with CarPlay.

you need coding only can activate video in motion but depend on your mmi is highspec or not! mine is done via coding from an audi specialist

I don't know... I already have carplay - just not wireless and it only supports the apps that are carplay approved. The one review on this makes it sound like he didn't have carplay before adding this box, which is confusing.

I was going to get the one for wireless carplay but I guess I don't mind plugging the phone in....and mine is a couple gens old anyway - so I usually charge it.
