Hey Guys - looking to order lowering springs for my car but first wanted to check to see which shops in or around the Boston area are reputable and affordable for such work that specialize in aftermarket parts install for Audi's. I myself live in downtown Boston. Thanks guys!

I ended up making an apt with Eastside Motoring over in Waltham. I called Auto Engineering a few weeks back and really didn't get a good vibe over the phone, it sounded as if they just wanted to get off the phone with not so great customer service. No biggie though, I called back a few days later and again experienced the same lack of customer service which turned me off a bit. I was looking for perhaps set prices on services such as installation of lowering springs and etc but it seemed everthing was dependent on hourly work (which I get) but ultimately as a person also trying to save as much as they can, I was hoping for a set price which Eastside was able to provide and was reasonable. I'm having a lot of work done which is nice, sort of a once stop shop. I'm having lowering springs installed, re-alignment done, front grille swapped out to the RS grille and rear spoiler replaced with OEM Sport black spoiler.

I had a very different experience at auto engineering fwiw.

The owner made it a point to chat me up when I picked up my car and everyone else was super friendly and helpful throughout.

Please feel free to email me at [email protected] This is news to me about your experience! We are german car enthusiasts at the shop! It's possible that you might have called in the middle of a rush of calls. We have eliminated all person to person contact at this time, so the phone has been going crazy! I apologize for any inconvenience!
Miggy S3, we have customers from Maine (in this thread alone), to RI, to western MA (northhampton, monson, etc)

I have found auto engineering to be a great shop to work with. Strange that you had that experience.

It was strange initially but I'm glad Rick was able to get in touch with me and we were able to sort everything out. I'm glad I ended up getting everything done from them. Highly recommend them as you said.

Eastside Motoring did some custom stainless exhaust work on my S5, but when I went back to have some more work done, they said they were not doing custom exhaust anymore... however, they were doing nearly everything else. I had a very positive experience with them aside from that. I've also heard nothing but great things about Auto Engineering, and might be bringing my RS5 there to have them do my JHM downpipes/x-pipe and Stage II ECU/TCU flash rather than deal with it in my driveway.

Glad it all worked out well for you!
