Even if it fit I highly doubt it would mesh with the connector let along resistance required for it to work.

From what little I have read they will fit but you need a different connector to mate it with the Audi wire harness and then you need a tune to make it work electronically. That was from a very quick google search and only maybe 1 source that I read.

several companies sell 82mm hemi throttlebody upgrades but unfortunately you'll have to buy an adapter and harness from one of these companies. IABED is a good company

That is what the ie kit uses. A 80mm hemi throttle body with their own designed adaptor to neck the inlet down from the 80mm to the stock 70ish mm inlet on the supercharger. Then yes you need to make a connector with pins in proper locations on the connector. The polarity is reversed on the 80mm throttle body vs the stock audi throttle body.(they open in opposite directions of each other). Then you have to get the proper throttle body data to put into your tune, for the exact throttle body you use so it functions properly. I am in the process of building my own big throttle body upgrade for my A7 as we speak.

If you know where to find a pinout or diagram for the harness please let me know I need to rewire my connector from 4H1973713 To 4H0973713 so I can run an iabed upgraded throttlebody.

I am an audi tech and have access. I already built the connector for mine just waiting for the adaptor piece im going to use to show up. So i can start putting it all together and test it out. I have both a hemi 80mm throttle body and an audi 4.2L throttle body 83mm( I measured it and that is what it came out to). The bolt pattern for the 4.2 tb is slightly different so modifications would need to be made for that one to bolt up to the adaptor im trying. I also tune my car with hptuners so getting the tune information for either throttle should be pretty easy. Ill just rip a stock tune file off a car that has either of those throttle bodies and copy the tables into my tune. Hoping it all comes together this coming up week. Ill keep you posted on how it goes. Send me an email and i can get you the information you need. My email is [email protected]
