Sold the allroad and transferred my subwoofer to the S5. Selling the enclosure that fits in the left side, stealth installation. Requires relocating the factory amp which I put below my spare tire. Fits 10" subwoofer, 7.1" top mount depth, 0.53 cuft. I will include my cut oem trunk panel with grill attached so you don't have to cut your own. $125 shipped firm. Local pickup in Smyrna, GA available.

there is a European ebay store called Basser that used to sell them. Don't know if they still do - bought one of their enclosures for my B9 S5 SB, but didn't see these B8 avant ones listed any more.

There are 2 companies on the bay that currently make. One is a one man show in the UK, sells a right side enclosure for about $200 shipped. Another is the more mass produced one, which is the one in this thread, made by Basser out of the UK. That can still be found under international sellers on the bay for about $200 shipped.

The Basser one requires some fairly easy wire/amp relocation from the left side of the avant. The other custom fiberglass one does not require this, but seems more bulky. I think you get a little more air-space with the fiberglass one made for the right side of the avant.

I've been keeping an eye on both, and just haven't pulled the trigger because I always have another project I am working on. Once I run out of other things, I might pick up the fiberglass one from the UK.

I have the same one that's for sale here. Extremely well built. Fit was good, just had to raise it a bit and for .68 cu/ft box it gets super low. Would buy again...

    NEED HELP PLEASE:

    I have a 2014 A4-Allroad.....A stereo shop added my LC6I for LOC, Mono Kicker CXA 800.1 for KICKER 47TRTP122 Down-Firing 12" CompRT 2-Ohm Enclosure.
    All brand new equipment.

The Bass will only play loud if I turn volume up stock deck to 20 or higher

    Any idea why?

    Thanks in advance

I am assuming that one of the thing in your list above is an amplifier. You probably just need to turn up the gain on the amp. Most amps have a few tiny knobs that are inset slightly that can be adjusted with a small screwdriver. One of them is the “gain” and determines how much the incoming signal is amplified. One direction will increase the amplification of the base to the speaker for a given amount of signal input and the other direction will lower it.

There are usually a few other adjustments knobs like this that will adjust the amp’s internal crossover and maybe some other aspects as well. You may want to adjust those as well, but should start with the gain.

    Hope that helps

I have a 2013 Allroad and want to add an amplified woofer but it has audio issues . The rear speakers only produce bass regardless of head settings and I've already replaced the factory amplifier. I'd happily accept any replies as to whats wrong Thanks
