make sure you use the rubber o rings on the sensors. It keeps the sensors pointing straight. I forgot to do mine and its annoying when I Ieave the driveway. Planning to re-do one my knee recovers from surgery so I can do that and install my FMIC at the same time.

Can you post a pic? I am debating as the non S-line doesn't have the honey comb bottom corner fillers, but the straight-line ones. I'm debating if it would look bad as they wouldn't match.

Does anyone make a grill for the B9.5 that’s open all the way through instead of having the filled in horizontal strip at the level of the crash bar? All the B9 aftermarket grills seem to be made without the strip whereas every B9.5 grill I’ve seen has it.

Response time won’t be quick lol. They make a great product (from what I’ve heard) but are slow on the response. I ordered a grill at the end of February and I’m still waiting on it. Supposed to get a tracking number this week.

I had to replace my CarNLabs grille after an accident back in January. I emailed them at the end of February and they had a pretty big lead-time which wouldn't work for the auto shop. Mops suggested if I couldn't get one from CarbNLabs to order from German Car Accessories, as a lot of people here have ordered from there. Grille was almost identical (no longer required trimming for the sensors), and arrived in a week.

I got mine from Carbnlabs - amazing fitment and no sensor issues whatsoever, plus this is V2 with the consistent mesh throughout - completely changed my front end!

From what I've heard, the paint work on the GermanCarAccessories (GCA) grill isn't fantastic. While my car was in the body shop, I had mine painted to match the rest of the body work and a final layer of clearcoat over it all, so I can't say with any certainty on it.

There is the discussion of the sensors on the front. On the CarbNLabs v1, the passenger side sensor would typically hit a plastic mount and required cutting. On CarbNLabs v2, there is no cutting required as they fixed the sensor position. I believe the version I recently received from GCA is the one similar to CarbNLabs v2 grille.

In both cases for me, the Quattro script was shipped unattached, and neither were sent with a mounting template. I improvised and created my own template in Photoshop and used masking tape to mount it. The letters are applied with automotive double-sided tape.

If you order from GCA, the Quattro Script, chrome rings, and license plate mount are shipped separate, which means you may need to wait an extra week from the time you receive the grille itself.

This was my issue. When my car was in the shop for repairs, I wanted to get a CarbNLabs grille put back on it...but unfortunately for me, they were out of stock for far too long. GCA was a pretty good alternative though.

I’m in the same scenario. CarbnLabs is completely unresponsive to emails so I went with GCA. Everything shipped together and I am going to drop it off at the body shop tomorrow.

2019 SB here, I had to go with the GCA when my car was in the shop. It did not require the crash bar to be notched.

Current version CarbNLabs also does not require notching.

Ordered mine on 7/1. Johann posted a thread and was apologetic for delays. I think he's been having some challenges, so I've put myself on cruise control at the moment. Hoping he can get things sorted out and caught up fairly soon. Wondering if anyone else has heard anything.
