Thanks to APR for support this project and specially thanks to Arin for helping me with my Q7 Ok here is base data : 1/4 mile by Dragy device … Dyno by EFI Logics and some logs to compare with later with stage 2 and stage 2+ . Car will get lot's of modifications : APR Dual Pulley / APR Flash / APR Ultra Charger / Ported blower / Custom PCV System / My cooling system for Supercharger " Svarog Chiller " hoping to hit 11sec at 1/4 who know it might able to do that. Stay tuned and a lot more to come

Can't wait to see the progression on the Q7, Oleg. So long as you still have the S5 in the stable, I can sleep at night knowing you didn't make a full transition from a coupe to an SUV.

Any updates on the S5? Any crazy plans to swap in an ls or a twin turbo v10?
If I had a crazy build idea, I'd convert the s4/s5 to rwd, perhaps bolt up a tremec t5 or tr6060, remove the false firewall and make custom engine mounts to move the engine as far back as possible. As for my choice of the engine, either lsa or an inline 5 from the rs3/ttrs.

Will you consider larger crank (circa 210mm)/std SC pulley?

Standard UK CREC S5 with sports diff here. Following this closely to guide my efforts

    Nice wheels by the way

I picked up 2016 Audi RS7 engine with some internal damage and going to build bottom to top ! Still trying to make choose where this 4.0T will go😉 ether Q7 or S5 but I like the way V6 perform in S5 and I might swap CREC 6 and build with forged internals in to S5 and build 4.0T into Q7 I’m not sure yet .

Nice Oleg, I'm intrigued by this motor DI/PI capabilities. Can you adapt the old charger snout to remove clutch?

I tried before and everything is bolt on but to make this work correctly is required tuning to disable supercharger speed sensor and magnetic mechanisms to code it out

Thanks for this post, its very interesting. I have just watched your video carefully and I have finally had a clear view of why no post grinding is needed on the CREC. My tuner told me that he didn't need to do it but I have always wondered about it.

This Saturday Stage 2 flash! Only did APR Dual Pulley 57.7/187mm that's it for now! Cooling system is stock … I would like to see how bad it is on stock cooling system and only after that combined my own second cooling system that should drop at list 25-40c down this is a lot ! I'm more pumped to try ported blower with APR UC System and race gas or E40-70 might be even more because CREC engine is dual fuel injection

FYI my ratio is 2.99 on 99 RON (93 AKI) fuel and I have never had a heat problem (I monitor with FIS-Control MMI). The CREC does have better intercoolers than the previous model.

Talking about the dual injection - you are aware of the recall?

Dippy, have you monitored the supercharger bypass flap on yours taking into account the MRC stage 2 is designed for a 179mm crank? I wonder if they increased boost request in the map.

I've looked through an A2L and there is a supercharger ratio value that is set at 2.5 on the stock file so they would have had to have changed that I'm thinking but overall map calibrations I doubt they touched. I'm wondering if the car bleeds boost as a result.

Ok car is flashed APR Stage 2! Dyno numbers is 320whp/310wtq with opened bypass valve and low timing on 93Oct … I send logs to APR so they can take look what needs to be tweak on file for my car. Even with opened bypass and 6300rpms redline car makes some gain and better result at 1/4 mile also feels awesome and smooth on street. Tomorrow Q7 getting new TCU file by **** IG: melen_tcu **** Q7 will have 7500rpms redline this is another 20wph+ just because higher rpms and faster supercharger spin means more boost. Soon as APR tweak stage 2 I will start work on adaptation of UC kit and then back to EFI Logics for flash!
So with bypass shut off + better timing 19-20* + 7500rpms I think I should pick up another 50-70whp easy on 93Oct. Thank guys and more to come

    Interesting numbers for the SUV

I've not heard of this platform being pushed to 7500rpm. Would that TCU file work on UK spec cars?

Very intrigued to see how stock HX and your chiller hold up

You sure that was the dual pulley file they flashed? Single pulley boosts to about 1 bar with flap closed. That looks low.

I can't confirm that but they should do stage 2 Dual Pulley flash... I'm waiting on APR all the logs send. Also logged fuel parameters and secondary fuel at wot only 5% active that means it's a lot more fuel in CREC platform but APR Not support this in their tune I really want to run Full E85 that would insane

FYI mine peaks around 2.25 to 2.3 bar.

@stevephilp - I am fairly sure that I have the "standard" MRC tune, with a few adjustments to allow for the difference in pulley size. Unfortunately the difference is due to MRC mis-communicating the size I needed to buy. However I am quite happy with the performance it gives on the standard tune.

That's relative pressure not absolute. So 1.25 to 1.3 bar at sea level. So it looks like you're not bleeding boost to me. As wrong as it sounds - you'd need to log the supercharger 'regulator flap'.

Yes, that is the ECU reading which measures boost pressure on top of atmospheric. There's not an easy way to just show the boost pressure. But I can view the atmospheric pressure if I need to - but it doesn't change much around here so I don't care. I can also view the regulating flap - it definitely opens to "bleed" boost.
