    Looking for some feedback as I have been consistently throwing the car into limp mode under high throttle driving, especially shifting from 3-4. I can’t tell if it happens during throttle or when I left off and shift again but it is very consistent. I haven’t been able to grab a data log yet so I’m going to do that but I don’t believe this is related to my misfire issues that I was seeing earlier throwing the EPC. Those cases also tripped a CEL and a misfire code. This doesn’t consistently signal a CEL.

    Any ideas? I will be reaching out to 034 as well for feedback but I’m curious if anyone had come across this?

    Is this reproduce easily ? If so maybe we could log . There’s hundreds of possibilities that cause limp .
    Is it only when shifting gears ? Or does this occur at WOT?
    IF that’s the only code popping up then it’s seems like your ECU it’s self if the issues

    Yeah very easy to reproduce. I believe it has happened both when shifting gears AND above 7k rpm at WOT. I’ll try to get some logs to better see what’s going on.

    Is it only during 3-4 change or in lower gear under launch conditions? Log LPFP and HPFP data as well.

    Yes there is a possibility of the pumps taking a shit . I was thinking more of a clogged Cat but then again he has test pipes

    You're on 034 e40 tune right? Message Nate it's a known issue and 100% tune related.

    This is the fault you're getting

    Thanks all for the feedback. I’ll see what 034 comes back with. It’s definitely frustrating as any time I start getting on it and rolling the gears I hit the EPC. I’ll try to get more information though and go from there.

    Yes I’ve seen this come up as well. Any idea why? It sucks because every time I try to through the gears and have a spirited run I end up in limp mode. My friend with an M550i kept up with me today because of it so naturally I’m frustrated lol

    I was in touch with 034 today and they did indicate that they had seen this with another user. I flashed a different revision, and now I am back to normal with no issues. I appreciate everyone’s advice, and of course 034 for putting out a fix.
