Please help me. What Unitronic tune was put on my car?

So I purchased a used 2019 TT RS and was told that the car had not been modified. Checked with Audi and the VIN came up clean (no TD1) but this is somewhat meaningless because the car has not been back for service since delivery. Anyway, inside the glove box I found the following parts. These are Unitronic part numbers so I realize now the dealership may not have been straight with me. I have no way to contact the original owner. Is there anyway to identify what tune was on my car? Maybe by VIN? Even if it has been flashed back to stock, I'd like to know what it had on it.

Brian or somebody else at Unitronic can help you identify what tune was on the car if any. However, because that stuff wasn’t installed, I’d think they were just gearing up for stage 2. Good luck!

Thanks, The plugs actually were installed. The NGK boxes contain the OEM plugs.

I would talk to Unitronic ASAP and get information on if/when it was tuned and have a chat with that dealership. I would not be happy.

Was flashed back to stock but has Stage 1, 1+, 2, and a DSG stage 2 tune on the cable. A little disappointed that it’ll be TD1 flagged but excited to play with the tunes.

Why would it be flagged the dealer said it was clean. Just don’t load a tune back on.

It's clean because it hasn't been scanned yet. I'm sure once it is hooked up at the dealer it will be flagged.

Thats my guess. It wasn't an Audi dealer.

Yeah, for now you can use the ECU and DSG Stage I; but you’ll need the bolt ons to go further.

Was your plan to keep it stock? If so, you can talk to the Dealer who sold you the car. If your plan was to tune it, no big issue there unless they sold you something with different conditions. It’s a good thing you got in contact with the previous owner so he can give you some feedback about your car.

Unless he was expecting a warranty with his new car. Not saying it’s the case here, but if there are underlying issues with the car, I guarantee it’s gonna cost more than $2k to fix. If he was planning on tuning it, then yeah, it’s a nice little surprise.

Dealer leaving the goodies in the glove box = they knew it was tuned
may as well ask them for something in writing, can't hurt.

I had great success with my unitronic tunes on my S3, turning it "off" before service.
breaking in my TTRS currently, but will be itching by mid spring.

Ill bet the dealer really didnt know because they are clueless and don't take the time to prep a used car like they should. I traded my 370z in for a focus RS. The guy that did my appraisal thought the race collectors on my headers were cats.
If you are worried about it take it to your dealer and say the dealer said it was not tuned but it really was and you want a warranty in writing.
