Recochem OEM Antifreeze Pink Euro II

Quick question has anyone ever used this coolant if so how is it compared to VW & Audi Brand, need to buy coolant but OEM cost $46.00 sorry for such a huge picture.

Hmm. The last time I went to the dealership for G12-13, it was around $26 Canadian for a concentrated 4L jug. Have you checked the dealership? Ask for their best good guy price.

I’d also call around to other dealerships and if the price is lower, get the closer dealership to match the price. Done that before too.

I get mine from the local VW dealer. About $20 for a gallon of concentrate.

Haha that’s funny, I picked up same stuff off amazon about 3 weeks ago,
I haven’t noticed anything bad with it besides the color seems a bit off. G12-13 is a true light pink, this stuff mixed looks light pink with a hint of orange.
I could send you a picture of the color if you want

I run this in the b6 a4 and the b5.5 passat.
it is neon pink, and about 25 a gallon to the door.
this is one of the few things that may be cheaper at the VW dealership than anywhere else.
amazon is the second cheapest and saves me a 50 mile round trip.

It works fine and meets the specs, I've been running it for months now. As long as you didn't put something other than g12 in the car you'll be fine.

At that price why risk creating issues when a gallon will run you $32 at a dealer or less.

The other options are a VW dealer or mail order. I do agree that going out hunting for antifreeze is a pain.

Sorry I’m spoiled in NJ. Everywhere. Also note vw uses same coolant as does Lamborghini Bentley Porsche.

I've used it before, Canadian tire sells it here and in a pinch when I can't get my 5L just of Fuchs g13 equivalent concentrate I've bought it and had zero issues.

x2, I've been picking this stuff up from Canadian Tire for the last 4-5 years, only because its close and cheap. I have it my entire fleet by now.
