    Recommendations: C7.5 S7 Mods

Recently upgraded to a 2017 Audi S7 in Sepang Blue this winter. Already obsessed with it but, as always, I'm looking to make some modifications to personalize and make my car unique. I've already gone through the VCDS mods and have a set of matte black rims from my old A7. Looking to hear some suggestions or stories about modifications that you've seen or done. Below is a list of things I'm considering and picture of the car Day 1.

    - Tinted windows
    - Retrofit RS7 quattro grill (state requires front license plate )
    - Painted side markers to match body paint
    - Air intake
    - Exhaust (not impressed with sport exhaust)
    - Carbon Fiber accents (mirrors, roof vinyl, spoiler, bumper trim)
    - Blacked out badges (matte, satin, or gloss?)

I'm new to the Audizine community so I'm excited to get some feedback and suggestions from people who are just as obsessed with these cars as I am. Fire away fellas!

Tune it, get a lowering module maybe throw a RS bumper up front. Could possibly even do some wheel spacers to widen the look of the car.

Does the 2017 S motor have the upgraded turbo oil strainer? If not then getting the updated strainer done would be the first thing to do.

Modifications are very personal in what you want. I would suggest just to drive the car for a while and get a feel for it and see what you do and don't like. See what repairs are needed first, it might turn out to be a POS lemon and at that point you just sell it and move on. If you decide to keep it then modify from there . . . . if at all.

If you haven't done it already, I'd check the condition of your turbos first and make sure the oil screen is not clogged and updated to the latest revision. With that out of the way...

    - Tinted windows
    - RS grille
    - APR Stage 1 Tune

Intake and exhaust won't come close to what you'd get out of a tune. If you want you could get downpipes and get an APR Stage 2 tune.

    Guys,

    I'm also new to 2017 S7.

From the posts it sounds like checking turbo screens should be easy. Is there any exterior indication of which Rev is installed? How to check for it?

I believe that checking the screen is a good 4 hours into the engine to get at it.

Had no idea the turbo oil strainer was such a common issue before buying the car. Read quite a few threads and not seeing anything that indicates when rev G was available and what mileage it becomes a problem. Seems like more work I'm ready to do myself. Anyone get this done by their local shop?
