    2018 RS3 0-60 times and track times

I've been working on getting my times down when i can and I've gotten good advice from other users and car enthusiasts on facebook as well as other locations. I figured I'd start my own thread to share my progress and let others drop tips and tricks as well as a place to post their own progress. I started off stock cutting a 3.96 0-60 time which is meh at best, i then got unitronics stage 1+ tune with e85 and no supporting parts and reduced my time down to a 3.21. A few weeks passed and i had picked up an IE intake, Unitronic 4" turbo inlet, and unitronic mids and was then cutting a 3.14 time. I then put my 18" RSe10 wheels on with continental dws06 all season tires which seemed to help a lot, i was down to a 3.06 time and even got one time at 2.99. Last week i picked up a 034 dogbone mount and inserts and installed them and finally got to do another test. I was blown away with how much the mount alone helped, i cut a 2.94 with a 1.89% grade with a little spinning. Soon i will be getting the parts to go full stage 2 e85 and cant wait to see how much further i can get this time down.

Here are some of the draggy results as my local track is still closed for test and tune. I plan on getting out and getting some real times to try and get on the official list for these cars haha

I'm in the same 0-60 range - ran a 3.01 on APR 1+ E85, looking forward to seeing what the stage 2 tune and exhaust mods did for the times when the summer tires are back on the car.
If TCU tuned, I found that my best 60' and 0-60 times were happening at sub 3000 RPM launches on Michelin PS4S tires - right around 2900 RPM.

Yeah I’m tcu tuned, and I’m on all season tires right now. Tires are still to new to replace (they are about 2 months old now) so once I get a good tire and other stuff dialed in I should be able to get much better times

Thanks for the info - it's nice to see the times vs parts progression! I am a bit surprised at the small gain from the 4" inlet, intake, and mids, though. I'd guess the difference would be larger on pump gas. Please post your results when you get the DP and FMIC on!

I didn’t pick up a ton on the low end, but it picked up about a tenth of a second in the quarter ( before I was running in the 10.8x now down into the 10.7x

I think I was commenting on your facebook thread in the rs3 group, but I have similar mods and have the stage 1+ and tcu tunes waiting to go on (there is only one e85 station within 25 miles of me, UGH). When I bite the bullet and commit to filling up there everytime, I'm expecting very low 3s or high 2s also. Nice times!
