Front Under Tray’s..B8, B8.5..all same?

Damaged both my front under trays/splash shields in high snow. (12MY S4 DSG)

OEM prices for these on B8 S4 are insane. I know of the ECS metal shields but I’d rather the plastic type.

I looked up aftermarket copies of the OEM shields. Seems like B8 S4 is only the same in front as B8 A5/S5, according to Audi parts online lookup.

I found a few shields on eBay stating for 2009-2016 A4 (AU1228119). Wondering if anyone has attempted to install this front shield on a B8 S4?

Would shields for a A4 B8/B8.5 fit? Only reference I have is the ECS shields fit B8 A4/S4 and a separate version for facelift/B8.5....kind of misleading info between plastic vs metal.

FWIW I just put the ECS belly pan on my car on Thursday. It is surprisingly thick - I think it would take some serious debris to damage it. Fit is nearly perfect on my 10 year old car and it bolts up tight.

I’m tempted to get the tranny pan and tunnel shield from them as well due to how solid the belly pan is.

I purchased that part number off eBay, said it would fit 09-16 A4. It was a POS…
You can make it fit by drilling new and slotting some existing holes. However the overall width is slightly short so you need to pull the bumper to get the corner screws into tray.
I don’t think the trays were oem, looked like a copy. So, it could be a factor of a cheap cloned part or the fact that part number isn’t right.
I had also bought the transmission tray, same issues…

I’m currently waiting for the USA/CAN borders to open, I’ll be ordering metal trays from a guy on Facebook in the Audi S4 groups. Sells each tray in metal for range of 250usd. If I wait for borders to open, I can drive across to pick up versus paying crazy shipping fees.(border is 18mins).
