Hello Q5 Owners, Im coming over from the S4 platform and looking to purchase a new daily driver. Looking at the Q5's i see the TDI is a great engine especially with MPG. However, in my searches across multiple forums and youtube videos, I couldnt really find any information on how the cars behave with the Dieselgate fix and their life expectancy past 100k miles. I would prefer to buy a lower mileage car, but some of the colors and features im looking for are incars that have around 70k miles. Hoping to hear any impute that can be provided, thanks in advance.

    No complaints here, I just turned 90k on a 2016. I have had the Q5 for 20k.

I have 105k on the TDi in my A6. It has been flawless so far.

Its not even remotely absurd to see a well maintained diesel flirting with a million miles

Hopefully not jinxing myself, but my wife's '15TDI has a bit more than 130k miles and engine hasn't missed a beat. Standard maintenance schedule and the oil sample results come back with no issues. Change the tranny fluid, though, as it's not lifetime like Audi claims. Several links and info about it on this forum.

Any specific packages to look for? Hoping to get a Prestige, but not sure what other little add-ons could be had when ordering.

Maintenance is paramount. Those engines (much like most things) will last if you take care of them. The dieselgate fix isn't going to change anything (IMO) when it comes to longevity. I have a Q5 3.0TDI and would buy another really quick if I found a deal.
