    A pillar removal B9 S5 with B&O Stereo

    Hey Guys,

I'm in the process of wiring my blackvue dashcam right now and am wondering if anyone knows how to remove the driver's side A pillar. I know that you usually remove the torx first behind the airbag stamp, but there is none when you have the B&O stereo. Does anyone know how to access the A-pillar screws with the B&O system? Not a fan of just tucking them under the pillar.

Why aren’t you a fan of tucking it in the trim below the pillar? What’s your plan once you remove it? If you tuck it into the seal, you won’t need to worry about the wire getting in the way of the airbag deploying.

Exactly like @JWreck said. You should be able to tuck it under the trim for the room lining across the line for the pillar separation then under the rubber weatherproofing. Way easier process than full removal.

Update: Added pics. I used a trim removal tool to gap the trim and push the cords through. Had to use the tools to pull the cords out so you could see how I routed them, it's super easy and works for both driver or passenger side if you want to go the obd powered route.

I just prefer to have the install as clean as possible. I ended up tucking them with a trim tool

I would still love to know how to remove these, at some point I will replace the a-pillar tweeter(s).
