2019 audi s3 stage 2 APR ( whistle sound ?¿ )

Hi! How are you ?

I have apr stage 2 91 oct HT a month ago, I have a question with a whistle sound at wot, I need to know if it is normal or not.

Mods:

Cts turbo inlet pipe
Cts muffler delete
Cts catless downpipe
Cts intercooler
Carbon fiber AMS intake
H&r sport lowering springs
APR stage 2 High torque 91 oct tune
APR dsg stage 2 TCU

it's only in second gear and third at wot, a little whistle sound.

Are you asking the beep at 0:23 in the video? I'm not positive but I think that's a speed warning. I heard it a few weeks ago for the first time on my 2016 S3 when I was racing a guy. If I recall I was going 125+mph.

Veo que heres de Chile y tu pantalla estaba en Español. Yo hablo Español (familia de Ecuador). No estoy seguro pero creo que ese sonido en el video a los 23 segundos es una advertencia de velocidad. Hace unas pocas semanas yo escuche el mismo sonido por la primera ves en my S3 año 2016 cuando estaba en una carrera. Si recuerdo bien estaba sobre los 200k kilómetros por hora.

Hi! Nope!! Lol.. That sound is from the road when passing a porch (at the end of the video, it's not that sound). The sound that I mean is at the beginning 0:09 sec, when you step on the accelerator, it is only in third Gear, is a very low whistle sound, maybe the Wastegate? , try to use headphones.

always heard in second and third gear, sometimes more slowly.

Tighten the intake clamps. Had the same exact thing happen to me on my Gti and also had no answers for a while.

If not that, check the turbo for any foreign object damage on the compressor wheel.

Hi , today I installed my new spark plugs ngk R7437-9 for my stage 2 , I checked all the clamps from my AMS intake ... but the little sound persists. The car at wot is very strong, absolutely no problem with that. ... But it's strange ...Maybe it's nothing.

I took my filter off completely, put it back on retightened it, and it never came back. Saw one other person that had the same thing and it also was their intake not being tight enough. Swap the stock one back on and I guarantee it stops.

Just tight a little more the clamp of my filter cone.. I'm afraid of carbon fiber issue. I currently have another filter on it ( afe power ) , if I put the original back ( AMS ), maybe the problem could disappear (?¿)

I'm surprised, my ams intake doesn't have this part .. there's nothing in that "hole". ¿ is that the problem ? maybe ?

Just put the stock one back to trouble shoot.

It is a bit complicated, since the CTS turbo inlet pipe does not work with the OEM intake tube.

I will do an update soon!

update:

That little whistle sound from my engine was successfully SOLVED, it was that intake hole, (drain hose), and now everything is perfect in every way !! No problem at all.
