Phone holder / mount - photo of your solution

Picked up a 2018 S5 last week. Am looking for a solution to mount my iPhone somewhere on the dash. Am curious to see what solution you all have found.

I've used a Wizgear magnet in multiple cars, works great IMO, very strong attachment. Bought for cheap on amazon, you get enough supplies for setup with two phones in two vehicles. Nothing is permanent, I just slip the plate into my phone case and stick the wizgear piece on a vent. No need to clip anything just press it against and you're good to go. I've heard of some people who use NFC having an issue with the metal plate in the phone, or for wireless charging, but it depends where it's placed in your phone for the most part.

yeah...I have a ProClip solution on other vehicles. unfortunately, the solution I prefer isn't avail for S5.

I use this exact one for my 2019 S5 and it works perfectly.

What I like about the ProClip is that it's works off the cig lighter for power. Those magnet solutions don't keep the charge well enough for me as I stream my music through my iphone and I use google maps mostly instead of the in car nav.

Thie pics on the ProClip site are actually from an A5/S5 and it says Audi S5 2017 - 2020 under compatibility. You should be all set.

I have been using ProClip holders and mounts for years. I was able to transfer my universal holder to the new mount when I purchased my S5, saving about $50.

Does your phone ever fall off? I have the scosche version of this and the magnets are not strong enough.

Also, were did the get the red start button. I have never seen that before.
