    Help with fault codes

Hello. I needed some help in where to start to fix the following fault codes in my 2010 Q5 3.2:

    Engine Control Module
1.1 U100800 Diagnostic interface for data bus Active/static Read out DTC
1.2 P307A00 Intake system Passive/Sporadic Air flow too low
    1.3 P006800 MAP/MAF - Throttle Position Passive/Sporadic

    Transmission Control Module
    2.1 P174000 Clutch temperature monitoring Passive/Sporadic
2.2 P17D800 Torque limitation due to clutch temperature Passive/Sporadic

    Kessy
3.1 03285 Left front exterior door handle touch sensor-Short Passive/Sporadic

    Air Conditioning
4.1 00713 Center left vent positioning motor -V110-Upper Active/static limit exceeded
4.2 01206 Signal for duration of -Ignition OFF--Implausible signal Passive/Sporadic

    Gateway
    5.1 02071 Local data bus-Electrical malfunction in circuit Active/static
    5.2 02252 Generator-No signal/communication Active/static
    5.3 00458 Battery monitoring control module -J367-No signal/ Active/static

I have just bought the car from an auction. And done this scan yesterday using a workshop scan tool myself. Would very much appreciate direction from anyone on the forum to help me fix the issues above. I have sinking feeling the transmission fault relates to mechatronics and valve body being replaced, however since the scan tool has mentioned “passive/sporadic” next to the fault found, I was hoping the fix would be a less lighter on my pocket, and this only involves replacing the circuit board in the transmission.

I’ve had the main car battery replaced a few days ago. The workshop that fitted the battery state they have programmed the car battery. I’m not sure why I would get a fault code that’s related to the battery.

    Thank you in advance.

What is the date on all of those codes? My first suggestion was going to be to replace the battery. Did they clear everything after battery replacement or are these left over from before that?

These codes are all dated after the battery was changed. I’ve tried to clear them myself with my scanner. However all the codes have come back to except the code under “Kessy”. They all didn’t come back straight away, the ones under “Gateway” didn’t clear, but all the others appeared after driving for about 30 mins including the ones under the “transmission control module” which came back after 20 minutes of driving at about 65 kilometres per hour.

I’ve done a voltage test. Battery whilst the engine is running at 13.3 - 13.4. When the ignition is on but engine is off the voltage is at 12.5. I’m suspecting a bad alternator and or a maybe the voltage regulator....
I would very much appreciate input from you all and request if you could review my initial post as I have a feeling all these problems maybe inter linked and want to find the most cost effective solution.

    Thank you.

Would any one have access to Technical Service Bulletins to fix the following fault codes: P174000, P17D800, P179E00 and P179F00. All are related to the transmission. Thanks!

Do you have a number for a specific TSB you are looking for?

And what did you use to scan the car, I don't see those DTCs listed anywhere. Unless maybe the manual I have is just newer and doesn't have the right references.

I’ve used an Autel scanning tool. I don’t know the number of TSB. Was hoping for some more direction on these fault codes. Thanks
