IE Tuning Software?

Have a car that was purchased with Stage II dual pulley. Have the interface but no way to get the flashing software from IE's site. I tried emailing and calling but got no response and no one picked up the phone the two times I called. I'd like to do the throttle body upgrade and the upgraded fuel pump for the e40 tune but not sure how that works with the software license. I spoke to ECS and they said all software needs to be purchased through IE so not sure how best to get this taken care of if they aren't responding?

Odds are they are swamped with Black Friday orders and most places are closed all next week into new year.

From my understanding, the IE tune is locked to the VIN, then VIN is locked to the cable. In theory you should be able to buy just the cable which is on the site, and VIN will lock to your new cable. Either way, your buying a cable. I’d still confirm with IE this is true and that you actually have an IE tune from them.

So you have the IE cable? If so go to tuning.performancebyie.com and download the flash wizard and drivers.

Dual pulley tunes have a free upgrade to throttle body.

Shoot them an email [email protected]. They are usually pretty quick to respond. Customer service is on point, at least in my experience.

I responded to that post. I was frustrated due to the lack of response when I was having issues with my Black Friday tune purchase and figured it out in my own.

Tyler from IE responded to my original request and gave me all the info I needed. To be clear, I had the interface with the serial number printed on it, the cable is just a USB A-to-C...nothing special.
