Bad Throttle Pedal???

Everytime I go WOT the car goes into limp mode. Scan seems to point directly to position B on throttle pedal. Ordered a gas pedal, was this the right choice? Checked my firewall and it was cluttered with leaves and cleaned them out along with opening and inspecting ecu and unplugging relays and harnesses. This has happened before after a car wash or heavy rain but now it's frequent everyday. Load test on gas pedal is 89% when all the way down to the floor testing through obdeleven. The fault sometimes went away after unplugging pedal or abs harness.

I would assume either the pedal or the throttle body itself but it doesnt seem to have any of the codes I would expect if it was the throttle body. So think you made a good choice in terms of the parts cannon.

When you look at the measuring values for IDE00086 (position sender G79) and IDE01880 (position sender G185), do they make sense and is one exactly half of the other? (I think this was the one where one was one half the other, could have been something else)
100% = 5volts, the supply voltage to the senders. G185 is half the other because of an inline resister.
Interesting, SSP seems to imply that failure of one of the senders will result in disabling of the cruise control system.

As for the throttle valve, position (IDE00083, angle sender G187) and position 2 (IDE01650, angle sender G188) should match, and position normed (IDE00349) should track position specified (IDE00583).

But I'd log the data and go to where the bad data lies.

I checked the pedal throttle positions and they were all 89-90% I don't recall seeing one at 50% value. Also took apart TB and found no broken gears.

Still curious why have 15-95%, but then have ENG105194 on a full 0-100% range. You can see the actual voltage values, 2 is roughly half of 1 (IDE00392 and IDE00393), as expected.

I was looking for the Audi specific message in the DTC, but I don't see it. I see this is OBD11 instead of VCDS; maybe OBD11 can't read that. Something along the lines of http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index...5/P0221/000545 where P0221 is the generic code like we see for you, something like the rest of the text is the Audi specific message that actually points to the real problem, which you don't have.

Try clearing all and see if it comes back. Maybe it was just a hiccup.

I'll charge my laptop tonight to run vcds in the morning. There's not TSB on my car when looking up the vin just the tensioner which was already done during piston replacement at 33k miles

Replaced pedal, still no dice. Wiring is going to be faulty somewhere. Going to put it on jacks, last things I did was unplug diverter and also did my rear brakes and put a HFC.
