I don't have exact numbers for the absolute limits of the dsg but I can share my experience - 97k miles on my S6, Stage 3 for the last year or so (20k miles), about 530awhp on a mustang dyno (about 650 crank hp), no problems at all.
034MS put a big turbo on an A3 with the 3.2L engine and on stock DSG. It made over 600awhp with no trans failure or issues. This was also on a 2009 A3, so pretty old dsg.
I personally am not comfortable pushing mine any further by adding any more power and going with bigger turbos. Seems like the clutches start slipping at some point.
    SOLD: B5 S4 Tial 770s with meth @652hp
Current: C7 S6 - SRM +4mm RS turbos, SRM inlets, SRM fuel lines, DS1 stage 4 custom tune, HPFPs, X-pipe, H&R lowered

For me my clutch went as soon as I turned up to about the 750-800 torque range. This is with a DSG tune and hybrid gtx3071 turbos at 26 psi.
The trans seems to be happy at stage 2/3 race gas octane levels of power (low 700’s torque).

That being said the trans could be capable of more power holding but I was having mechatronic and I believe solenoid issues. I will be finishing up the upgraded clutch and solenoids when I’m back in town and will turn the boost up more until the next thing breaks.

It look like nvygw171 found the limits.
The only advertised limit I've ever seen is a torque limit of 550NM(406 ft-lbs) unsurprisingly exactly the max torque of a stock C7 4.0T however this is @ 9000RPM which implies maybe it can handle more at lower RPMs which it obviously can.

According to multiple sources (and my local gearbox-autoshop), the S-Tronic transmission is rated for 600nm and is the weakest link in the chain. The RS6 uses the 8-speed auto since it’s rated higher.

Many people have done stage 1 without issues but some have also lost the gearbox on it.. you gotta ask yourself if it’s worth the risk. I def. wouldn’t do it if the car was still within warranty. I have considered it myself though when mine is completely paid off. :D
