Has anyone ever had to add coolant. I'm at 75,000 miles and got a low coolant level warning. Had to add about a quart to get back to max level. Should I be concerned? Also, don't know if this means anything, but the car had sat without being driven for 3 weeks when I got the low indicator.

add, and monitor it to see if it gets low after a few drives

iv had my coolant leak and turns out one of my hoses was loose, and I found coolant splashed all over my engine bay

If the car leaked a quart of coolant while sitting for 3wks you would likely see it and/or smell it. Has it ever been changed? They don't (IIRC) recommend any specific interval I don't think but I personally usually do a coolant change every couple of years if not doing any other work that would require a top up/flush etc.

Check the turbo coolant lines. There was a TSB/recall, but if you never had it done you may have to do it on your dime now.

It's never been changed. I'll be doing my 75k service soon. I'll have and indi shop do the transmission fluid/filter change. I might tackle the spark plugs oil and filters myself. Also this winter I'll be replacing front rotors, front and rear brake pads (last track day did a number on my brakes). When I'm under the car I'll check for loose hoses and if I can't find anything I'll have the indi shop do some investigating. Trouble is I really don't drive the S6 this time of year. I park it for the Ohio winter and drive my Passat.

Also, the turbo coolant lines were done a couple years ago by Audi.
