    Audi S7 Brakes Sizes

The stock A7 rotors seem to be 356mm, are the S7 rotors 400mm for the front but identical to the A7 for rear brakes?

    Thanks in advance.

    front 400x38
    rear 356x22
AFAIK the A7 uses the 330x22 rear rotor. Caliper may be the same (unpainted), but different caliper carrier bracket.

Beautiful, my dumbass ended up ordering A7 rotors because the catalog listed both under S7 and I assumed the bigger one was the RS7 model lol. Thanks for your information.

Time to return these and get the right ones, these rotors are bonkers in size.

Yeah it can be confusing and listed poorly many times.
FWIW RS7 front steel rotors are actually smaller than S7 rotors
    390x36 front
The rear is the same size 356x22 but both front and rear are the crazy expensive wave rotors, so once you see the price you know they are not what you want.
The Ceramics are larger than the S7
    420x40 front
370x30 rear, but again you'd know by the used civic price they are not what you want.

I agree once you get them off the car and in your hands you really realize just how large they are.

That's fascinating, I would have imagined larger on the RS7 but it's probably spec'd for repeatability on the track. And jesus, 420mm? This is new rotor territory for me, the biggest rotors I've had on prior cars was a 360mm.

This is gonna be a fun brake job. :D

That probably won't be for another month or two, is there anything in particular you're curious about?
