Powder coated A6 rims?

I’ve tried searching. I have a 2016 A6 and I wanted to know have anyone powder coated the factory ones I have in a gloss black or any black at that matter. Trying to see for reference purposes. And while I’m at it, would it look better all gloss black or gloss black and keep the face silver?

On a silver car I would do a Gunmetal or Anthracite. Personal preference though. I wouldn’t leave the face silver on those rims if you do have them powder coated.

Never considered gun metal. I was thinking of wrapping the front grill, roof and side mirrors in a gloss black to compliment the rims.

I think that will look good, and even better with gunmetal rims. On my silver S4 I had everything blacked out with gunmetal wheels and it looked awesome in my opinion. I think I still have pics of it somewhere on here.

That looks great. Hard to tell on my phone - Nardo Gray? Or a deeper silver? Huge difference between that and regular silver with black rims.

theres plenty of choices here (clearwater) ... I can ask for you (getting my windshield retinted darker at a place that does this...)

Ok so I came across this company that does halo efx performance coatings. Have anybody tried this material yet? I’m looking for a cheaper alternative to powder coating.

Perhaps. I have those but mine are a dark grey where yours is black. I’d prefer the black

I’m starting to have a change of heart I think the wheels in their original state looks good with the color of my car. I may just redo my calipers black with the Sline logo and call it a day
