I used my Harbor Freight 1.5 Ton Aluminum Jack and Torin Aluminum Jack Stands.
My pinch welds at the front of the car are 4.5” long and 6” long at rear. The issue was that the jack was too close to the ground to allow my jack stands to slide underneath. This prevents both from being able to contact the pinch weld.
I loosened bolts on one side of the jack to allow removal the front roller wheel. I had a piece of HDPE pipe, 1.91” ID and 2.4” OD which I cut to a length of 4”. Although any pipe over ¼” thickness should work. I then placed the 4” pipe around the roller wheel at placed back onto jack. With the bolts tightened back up, the jack now gives the perfect height to allow the jack stand to clear the bottom edge.
