Maintenance Service reset icon

Ok, i changed the oil and reset the oil light. How do you reset the service now message.
The reset the MMI, but I tried to rest through VCDS but it didn't take.
Does anyone know the procedure ?

If I remember correctly, the service soon light has to be reset in vcds under instrument panel, and adaptation or something like that. Hopefully somebody can chime in with a better idea of how to do it

Sometimes the service reset can be a PITA with VCDS. The easy reset button doesn't always work and you have to go into the modules and update settings.

It's a bit hard to give specific instructions as options seems to change with every new version of VCDS. If I remember correctly last time I did it a few weeks ago there were only 3 options:
-SRI Reset
-Reset ESI / OIL,(North America) or (Rest of World second service and later)
-Reset FIX&ESI / INSP,(North America) or (Rest of World second service and later)
I had to go thru all of them to get everything reset.
