    A4 B6 1-2 lift kit??? Not air!

Ok Ive been looking and there seems to be varying information on this topic. Im new to the Audi platforms so I dont know all the interchangeable parts like some.

I only drive my A4-B6 in the winter for awd. Im on 4miles of country gravel roads (not particularly well cared for either). So Im looking for and extra 1-2 lift to get my belly off the uneven gravel ground and for snow clearance. Dont want air!!! Just a coil over or spacer mount kit. Dont want steering geometry or linkage issues. A fairly simple bolt on kit followed by an alignment is all...

In truth I probably need an outback or forester that have 8.7 clearance currently.

My 2002 b6 avant is at 4.2 via Edmonds online.

She lives in the mud and snow. Would love 2 lift if feasable without heavy modification. Ive seen 20mm kits but thats only .75!!! 45-50mm would be awesome!

spaccer.com has these ring things that stack. You can get 4 of them for each corner and bump it up about 2"

    for $1500

at that price you can probably find a passable subaru but an avant battle wagon would be sick

Yea if its just stacked plates Ill get a friend to cut some on his CNC for $100... the question remains how high can I go before I start causing myself other problems and its not a bolt on anymore?

I just found this and have to think an A4 has same mounts as the Allroad... right??

Front suspension is similar, the rear is different afaik.

Yes... but theyre different platforms. Many Audis are AWD but the suspensions are different and therefore parts arent interchangeable.

Correct, the pre 05 allroad is an a6, c chassis not the b chassis our a4 is built from.

Just as an example here are the rear shock mounts from a B6 and a C5.

So what if I got some 1 thick aluminum stock and just cut some spacers to put in between the mounts and body and maybe tube spacers up front? Would I still have enough adjustability to get suspension lined up?

I read some extra threads about this and was reading that the best way was by installing spacers between body and frame. So now Im wondering if one could do a combination of 3/4-1 body lift and 3/4-1 suspension lift? Wondering if thats possible without causing a huge amount of accessory issues to correct.
