2016 A4 2.0T Reliability Questions

I found a potential commuter. A 2016 with 16k on it, and I am wondering how solid these cars are. I am obviously taking a risk given that the car is outside of the manufacturers warranty.

What do you guys think?

I like those older rotors so much more than the squared off ones they ship these days.

2016, there's no reason to expect any significant problems. As with even the most reliable, any specific example could have any issue. Too bad it's not a CPO at an Audi dealership, get the warranty extension to 100k.

Concur. The 2016 is as good as youre going get for the B8 in terms of reliability. Check out the Looking to Buy sticky in this forum for more info.

The one you linked to is from LA and the front brakes wore out at 16k miles which is odd. I have 73k miles on my 2013 and have about 7mm of pad all around still left.

Great sport package. Looks nice.

Note the PO put the rotor wheels and flat bottom steering wheel so I’d verify there’s no tune on the car or that it’s been modified elsewhere ie: intake, exhaust, intercooler.

Looks like a very nice spec! I wouldn't expect any issues with it being last year of production for the B8.5. I would recommend having a pre-purchase inspection completed though
