S4 Sports Seats with massage feature uncomfortable?

Is anyone else experiencing discomfort with the new S4 Sports seats with the massage function? No matter how I have it adjusted, it feels as if something is pressing against my back - almost like a softball behind the seat. I've tried adjusting the lumbar to a minimum, but still feel pressure on my back. Am I the only one that notices this?

I've never had back issues, but I'm not young, and just wondering if it's me, or the seats. Aside from the seats, I love everything else about the car.

I am pretty sensitive to any small lumbar annoyance and I don't feel anything uncomfortable with my seats.

This discomfort is with the massage feature off. Lumbar moved completely to bottom and fully retracted back.

I'm very sensitive to touch and don't experience any problems at all. Because of how I sit, I have my lumbar positioned all the way down and out just slightly which puts the seat back at even contact with my body. Super comfortable. I like how the sport seat feel better than the comfort seats.

Not as much as a ZJ......If you have to ask big man you cant affoard it....

Back to the original post, not really sure how to help ya. These seats feel stupid comfy to me and have loads of adjustability. Not sure your height or weight but maybe that might have something to do with it. I'm 6'2 185 and can't get over how well they fit me. I always felt cramped in my S3 but the S4 is money.

I had to buy a fifth ring for couple of grands, but really worth it!

I find them to be some of the most comfortable seats I've ever sat on. Maybe your lumbar on it is broken

Looks like you're the only one, so must be your back. I love the seats, infact, drove the car 11 hours from Indiana to NC after I bought it, back felt great.
Now what's this HJ option? The salesman gave me a weird look and told me to leave after I asked him how much it would cost to add it.....

best seats i've had in a car..They hug me every time I get in the car. I never realized i needed this kind of reassurance on a daily basis until i owned this car. And for that i thank my s4 and it's awesome seats.

No joke though, best seats i've ever had, comfort and aesthetically speaking.

Just finished driving from UT to OH. I used to think the Recaros in my E30s were the best. Nope, these seats are insane good. I’m not a small dude either. Massage, no massage, sloth mode, racer boy mode, they are perfect as far as I’m concerned.

I can't turn the damn thing off. It defaults to on everytime. I'm obviously not doing something right. I'll even pull the fuse pretty soon just to have it off. Any suggestions?

I have hip issues and had to use a seat pillow in my MK7 GTI, since the seat was too low and the rake of the seat was non that adjustable. Too much bucket.

In this car, I'm amazed at how much the seats can adjust. Love them and my hips aren't lying anymore.

Audi S and RS seats are the worst ever, I like the S-line ones the best. BMW and Mercedes are miles ahead of Audi in terms of seat comfort
