Otherwise good build. Wonder what the flex on the chassis is now that they have taken the OE front strut brace + fire-wall out. Could use an aftermarket top-mounted strut brace now to counter the weakened chassis.

Looks a pretty clean installation. My only concern would be all that heat concentrated in a relatively small area.

How much ventilation exists there? The fresh air intake will be drawing hot air into the cabin, once the HVAC blower is on.

I am just a guy active in many Audi forums. I own a Audi S5 4.2L V8 Manual with a JHM Stage 2 Supercharger. Additionally, i had a tuning genius Phil Taylor from Germany do a custom tune for me. I am also running a smaller pulley with Direct Port Methanol Injection. I just wanted to share and give the forum ideas of what is available.

The grammar remark wasn’t about you it’s about Mario, the guy who built this car. He has quite a habit of creating new accounts to show off his latest creations because he has been banned multiple times. The guy is crazy and obviously very, very skilled and I bet the car will be insane if this is really just the start of tuning. Those noises tho turbo and v8

I really don't try to write and check punctuations and/or spelling. However, I do apologize as your remark wasn't aimed towards me. I am a car guy first that loves Audi especially the V8. That's why I am all about applications that can better help this platform to grow. I do not know what Mario has done nor do I really care as people seem to always bring it up in conversations. I think his build brings something else to the table and that's why I shared it here.

I agree and it's quite interesting to see how capable those cars are and, it's great to see the shop he works for pushing the limits of these cars 10 years later. He is obviously very capable as his Rs4 made 1014 awhp on a mustang dyno. I and the other guys above were just cracking jokes about Mario making another fake account because it's been done a couple of times. Glad we could clear things up.

My motor isn't built but it is handling the boost (great tune). However, at the end of the day "time" will be the determining factor but I'm very confident about it.

I've got 80k+ plus miles but not much on the blower, as its not a daily anymore. I'll probably put less than 500 miles a year from now on.

Damn, you should be enjoying it more than that. 500 miles is nothing. Out of curiosity, is that a/w intercooler how you received it from JHM? Looks much nicer than mine did.

Yeah, I used my grinder and other tools to make it proper. I also took off the heat exchanger that you see pictured now and I'm going for a bigger 4 pass dual core one. I had to buy a new custom crashbar to make it work as I need a bit of clearance between the HX and radiator to fit the air filter and maf sensor.
