Is this paint Mythos Black or Panther Black

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Both photos are the same car, taken with direct sun light but the one with the green hue is taken from the back of the car towards the front and the other one, with the purple hue, as you can see is taken from the front looking back, both pictures are of the hood after removing the old clear vinyl wrap (being replaced) that’s why you see some streaks of the adhesive (removable).

Or does anyone know where in the car I can find the paint code?

That's Panther Black. I sold my Panther Black '13 RS5 about a month ago, and that green purple hue depending on the angle of the sun is totally Panther Black. Also, Mythos Black was only available for MY15 and replaced Panther Black. What year is this car?

Thanks for that answer, I was asking because I bought it from the dealer and they had it as a Mythos black, which I thought it wasn’t right, this is a MY13. But I’ll go tomorrow to the shop and I’ll look for the paint code to make sure

The only way this can be Mythos black is if the original owner ordered a custom color. Mythos black was not available as an option on MY13, but as I said this is clearly Panther Black. You can also quickly call AoA with the VIN and they can tell you the original options.

Was trying to find a good picture of mine where it shows the color. This is the best I could find. You can see the purple hue at the front of the hood. The purple hue is the distinct feature of Panther Black. Some people shied away from it because in some light conditions the car looks more purple than black. I really liked the color, though.
