    Replica Audi wheels

Wondering if anyone has any experience with these aftermarket wheels that are replicas you RS style wheels?

I realize the risks with replicas and if I’m honest, I tried AG M359 M3 wheels and almost immediately had finish issues that AG wanted nothing to do with replacing. I assume this will be the case with these? I’m really digging the Rs5 trapezoids as they’re a modern version of my Rs7 blades but they’re a bitch to find used. My guy says don’t waste my time, but maybe some have had positive experiences with these or similar replicas?

No experience with those wheels but I don't like to cheap out on wheels or tires.

I would go OEM, Forged from a reputable manufacturer or Hartmann replica wheels from achtuning.com

A close friend bought alzor replica wheels from ECS tuning and had issues with getting them balanced properly. They always had a slight vibration and he went through 2-3 sets sending them back and forth.

I would rather keep browsing the rs5 classifieds to see if I could find a set of takeoffs than having to find a perfect set of reps imo.

Also, with our massive brake setups you run the risk of them not clearing and having to find a buyer for the wheels.

I have had RS6 replicas on my Q5 and A6, and haven't had any issues. I've been running them for almost three years now: 2.5 with the Q5, and about 6 months on the A6. The black paint is holding up well, but the machined areas are starting to show some wear. However, I run my cars through car washes, the wheels have been through two harsh winters, the roads suck with tons of potholes, and there is constant construction in my daily drive so my car is getting pinged my rocks daily. I think any wheel with any finish would show wear. I even slightly curbed one wheel, and nothing happened. Now I am running 19s so they are somewhat protected with larger tires. I drove through Orlando recently, and the roads were impeccable. If the roads in Ft. Lauderdale are good I wouldn't hesitate, especially if it's a wheel you want. For me I wanted 19" black/machined RS6 wheels, which you can't find anywhere.

Fort Lauderdale roads are trash to be honest. That’s kind of why I’m hesitant to buy an expensive wheel like HRE. Lots of guys down here in the BMW world have bent wheels often. And they’re a used civic to replace unless they’re repairable.

I’ve been considering a cheaper forged wheel, going right in the middle of replicas and expensive HRE ADV1 etc

Hartmann does not make the trapezoid replicas that I see and none of their wheels go to 21. In my opinion 20s look small on the Rs7, maybe I’m just used to the 21s.
