Did you try taking the oil cap off while it was running to see if there is an excessive amount of suction? If it does fight you to take the oil cap off then you might have a blown diaphragm on the PCV

I just turned the car on and took the oil cap off. It's the same amount of suction as before.

    Ok so I ran VCDS.

Found like 100 missfire on cylidner 1 and 50 on cylidner 2

    swapped coils
    1-4
    2-3

now I have 300 miss fires ONLY on cylinder 1.

Guessing its the coil pack not the spark plug or anything else.... going to pick one up.

You change the coils and the #1 cylinder still misfired. I would seriously y look at changing all the plugs.

I had a crazy misfire problem under boost once and it was from the gaps opening up too wide.

    FRIKEN COIL PACK!!!

Thank you Autozone for being open 24hrs!
replaced the one in Cylinder 4 and misfires gone. Now time to replace all 4 with proper coils.

Is this the latest version 06E905115F?

At ECS, they show F in all the aftermarket coils, but they have a G revision in the Audi brand coil.

EDIT: Same with Europaparts, they show a G also.

Lucky. I was confused as you said the misfires stayed on cylinder 1 when you swapped coils with 1 and 4.

I'm going to order a set of 4 OEM and swap them all out. I want to make sure they are all the same.

I hope i didn't cause any damage driving on 3 cylinders for 3-4miles to get back home.

    Update:
I replaced all 4 coils with 07K905715-G from FCP. I had 07K905715-B before and the car feels more responsive.
No errors, nothing. So it was just a dead coil

Looks like you had 107,000 miles when a coil went bad. Those seem to be a fairly common failure around here.

This engine is a work of art.

Leaky piston rings, tensioner design, chain stretching, fuel Injectors, HPFP, coil packs & pcv are failure points... Did I miss anything?

    1. The cam bridge with the disappearing screen, followed by the check valve ball the lodges God-knows-where.
    2. How bout the vacuum leaks created by the what-the-hell rear main seal design?
