    Wheel bolt covers

The last two times I took off my wheels, my wheel bolt covers got incinerated, to say the least. Does anyone know if there are different designed options that will last and potentially look better?

This is what I am referring to:

When you say incinerated are you saying they are crumbling from overheating or they are getting destroyed during removal?
While I don't know of any other options other than just getting better looking lug bolts. I had used those caps on my older cars for many 10's of thousands of miles and never had an issue with them...still looked like new when I got rid of the cars.
If they are indeed overheating are you sure there is not some other issue i.e. brake overheat?

I have these for my aftermarket wheels.

BTW they also offer their own bolt covers...see the top of that page
I have also have heard these are good quality as well.

I'm curious as to what is happening with them. We've had these an all of our Audi's so far without issue. Shouldn't be subject to any real wear or tear.

They are being incinerated during removal. I would diligently attempt to remove them with a socket wrench. However, they would get stuck in the socket every time. Each one would take minutes to get out of the socket so I said screw it and removed them with an air gun. Doing this would destroy them, but I didn't care at that point.

You aren't supposed to remove these with a socket wrench. That's your problem right there. There is a tool to remove them, or just just a plastic trim removal tool to pop them off.
